Well I am not doing well at all with writing on my blog page… I guess facebook makes things easier by just writing a simple sentence every so often.
This year has flown by! Racing season is at full swing, LilD finished top place in wrestling, Mathew is taller than all of us, Elise started out the softball season with a home run, and Victoria is just growing way too fast! Me? I have been going to the gym on a regular basis and I have acquired a lot of energy, now if only the pounds would start shedding off I will be happy. I feel my running and biking improving. I have a 5:45 spin class tonight after work and after I get the oil changed in the Flex. I have a busy week wait let me be clear I have a busy summer. There is no rest for the weary.
On the upside David’s good friend Nat has a ticket available for the Opera performance Tosca. So I will be going to see that on Saturday. Last month I went with my mom and saw Don Giovani and it was wondeful! Now I just need to see the Nutcracker and my performing arts goal will be complete.
I am a little sad because this year it’s Brooks and Dunns farewell tour and they will be here on David’s birthday. I am not sure if I will get to see them. They are my favorite duo and I have not had the privalige to see them perform. Well I better get got for the moment.
I will try and do a better job at writing in my blog!

I am changing the blog layout and theme soon. (ok David is changing it, but I picked it) I am sure I could probably do it myself but since he offered I am not going to turn it down. Anytime he offers to do anything I will take it no matter how simple it may be. I am so tired I have been tossing and turning because I just can’t seem to sleep. Well last night I apperently slept 5 hours straight through but it didn’t feel like it. So I am still tired and I think it is just because I am anticapating our trip. I am looking forward to it and I am excited and I think that it is making me ancy. Well I am hoping the next couple of days go by fast so the weekend can get here soon so we can hurry up and get there. I miss Aunt Maria and Uncle chuck. (don’t ask me why I mss that grumpy old man, but for some odd strange reason he has grown on me. A bit like an itchy annoying mosquito bite, but loveable none the less)
Victoria hasn’t really been napping so she has been falling asleep around 7-8 pm and pretty much staying asleep. So I am not sure if that is a good thing but it is happening. Well I don’t care what schedule she chooses as long as she is happy. I have a video of her singing along to a song on the new Tinkerbell movie. It is very cute, she loves to sing and dance and paint. So I think I have a little creative princess on my hands. I think we are going to do Diaper dancing again in January or swimming. If the scheduling falls right maybe we will do both she can do swimming with daddy and dance class with me. We are done with story time until December so that is a class we have been doing since she was 6 months old. We love our story time teacher Ms. Kristen so we can’t wait to go back.
Wrestling season is creeping up on us now, I am excited I was talking to the coach tonight and he is happy to hear that Lil D has gained 10 lbs. So his weight class is going to be a bigger one. Last year he was very light weight so at some meets there was nobody to wrestle that would have been his weight or with in 5-9 lbs. So now he will have someone to wrestle at the meets. I am looking forward to it and I hope that it goes well I think it’s going to be a good season.
I need to get Victoria the Tinkerbell movies she loves them. She also watched Scobby Doo with me yesterday so I was happy she liked it. She has been into reading a lot lately, we sit in her room and go through all of her books. I might not get to read them word for word but I will ask her what is in the pictures and when we read the book of rhymes as soon as she sees the page with stars she starts singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. She is so funny.
I am looking forward to seeing Elise. I meet up with Amanda on Friday! I love my boys but it’s nice to have a girl around also. (one that reads the same books I do) Aunt Maria got the tickets for Elise and I to see New Moon, we are very excited that we are going to get to see it. I am sure the boys won’t want to. Mathew is looking forward to fishing, he is my little fisherman, Aunt Maria said she still has some fish in the freezer, so we will be getting that out and if he catches so nice catfish we will have ourselves a little fish fry :)ok I might not have any because I don’t eat it, but everyone else does.
I am very tired I better go to sleep I think I have written enough. Good night all!

So I have a tendency to forget that I have a blog. Then again with a 26 month old and a 13 year old (that knows everything) I get a little sidetracked.
Well people I have had a vision of sorts and I will be putting it into reality soon. I am writing a book. It will be about my view of life. Each chapter will be titled with the appropriate heading of what I will be disscussing. I hope you read it and maybe agree with some of what I have to say.
Onto other things.. I am pleased to say that life in the Moore household has been going well. I am getting more hours at work and David is always working so that really hasn’t changed. He is sad at the moment because he started swimming as part of his training and the person he swims with had an accident (he is ok it was on his motorcycle) and had to get stitches somewhere on the back of the foot like around the ankle area I believe. So he can not swim at the moment. So hopefully when we get back from our vacation all will be cleared and he can start that again. I think I should go with him one day, I used to be a pretty deent swimmer, it was my favorite thing to do so I want to teach him some technique because it is not easy when you are swimming laps to get everything down right. Breathing, proper kicking,etc..
So about our vacation. We are going to Arkansas and I am so excited!!!!! David’s Aunt and Uncle moved down there and have about 23 acresaccording to what I hear the weather is very nice this time of year. I talked to Aunt Maria last week and it was in the 70’s. I am hoping that it is just as nice when we are there. I am looking forward to this, we had to do a lot of planning and it almost seemed that Mathew wasn’t going to get to go because he was very sick 2 weeks ago and missed a week of school. He is doing well now and so he is looking forward to the trip. I think we all are David hasn’t ever taken any vacation time worth talking about so it will be nice to get away. (send out all of the good karma vibes and prayers that we have a safe journey)
So the Princess of the house is now awake so I better go and get breakfast started. Plus my coffee smells really good and I am in need of it.

I am baffled at how fast time passes…
It seems like not so long ago David and I were expecting Victoria and in the blink of an eye 2 years, yes TWO WHOLE YEARS have passed by. I can think of al the things we have done and it seems unreal that we have accomplished so much in what you would think would be a short amount of time.
So we had a small bbq at the house for her birthday. Just a few friends and Victoria’s friend Sam was here so that was wonderful she had someone to play with that is not only pretty much her age (he is 6 weeks older) but they have been around each other since she was about 5 months and they play well together. (If you are on my facebook he is the cute little blonde boy that is in all of the pictures with her, and the video of them running around at the park) We really enjoy seeing them because we get along with the parents which is a cool thing to find when the kids get along. If only our schedules would allow us to see each other more often.
I did get intouch with another parent I met in story time and her son is 2 days older than Victoria his name is Ashton and he lives about 2 blocks away so we will be planning to get together. Other than that our lives have been very busy, the end of racing season is here and it has been a short summer. Or so it seems with the weather being all weird we have had mostly Spring and Fall and only a few days of summer. That doesn’t help the tomato plants at all.
Work has been busy I mostly work 6 days a week but I have 3 Saturdays off in October so I am excited about that. I can’t wait to take Victoria trick-or-treating. She has 2 costumes at the moment that we have to choose from, depending on the weather she will either be a lady bug or Tinker bell. I think she will end up wearing both of them because we have so many different activities we do throughout October that you dress up for so she will get to enjoy both. We are planning the Zoo boo, Canterbury village, library, regular trick-or-treating, Halloween party. So we will have another month with a full schedule. I think that is why they go by so fast we live our lives on the weekends so the days just fly by.
I have to make an appointment for Lil D for a physical and flu shot, he is not going to be happy with me, but I rather not worry about him getting sick. I know he still could but I am lowering the chances (according to what I am told)
So Mathew is thinking about trying out for the baseball team. I hope he does because I think he would be great at it and it would give him more incentive to do well in school. David will ofcourse be in Wrestling. Elise is in cheerleading at the moment 2nd year and she is one of the captains. I think she will also do basketball and softball this year. I am thinking of doing a tumbling class with Victoria.
So life has been the same around here. David is working at the moment so that is why I am blogging. We were watching a movie so it is paused at the moment (Ghosts of girlfriends past) I made steaks and potatoes tonight for dinner and tomorrow I am making lasagna.
Ok movie is back on… spending time with the hubby is more important…. kids are asleep so I get to cuddle with my honey on the couch…. NIGHT ALL

So is that a heat reference? Or “lazy days”?
Well let’s see where to start?
We have been very busy lately.. we went to Marquette for a wedding last week. It is GORGEOUS up there!!! If I didn’t hate winter so much I would move there in a heartbeat… (ok I don’t mind winter, just not 8 months worth, more like 3 months I would be happy)
We had so much fun up there we were sad to leave. David got to ride the trails, I rode along the beach and met up with him, we went and cooled of at the beach. Lake Superior is a tad bit cold the first few minutes, but it was amazing. We had a blast. The wedding was beautiful.
Well next year we are planning a 10 day vacation up there that includes the Ore to Shore race. We will be taking the kids. Talking about trips we are planning a trip to Arkansas for the week of Thanksgiving. We will be spending some time with Aunt Maria and Uncle Chuck. We are looking forward to going down there I think we are going to stay the night in Kentucky on the way down maybe go to the Corvette museum or the Mammoth caves. I have to check into them and see what would be the best deal.
Lil D comes back from his mom’s house this weekend. School starts in a couple of weeks after that so we have a lot to get done in the meantime. I have to make his Dr.’s appointment for his sports physical and check up. Mathew will also be here this weekend so I will have my boys here
I am thinking about trying out yoga. There is a yoga place downtown that offers a free community class. I am thinking of checking that out to see if I like it and if so then I might just have to get into it. I hear it is a great way to relax and center yourself. Did I mention that David is going to have to do a Reiki session. It is complicated but I am trying to prove to him that different forms of healing can be affective if you are not closed minded.
We saw 17 Again last night. It was a very good movie we really enjoyed it.
I think I am going to and rent “I love you man” my mom has not seen it and it was good enough to watch twice so I don’t mind.
Victoria’s birthday sure is coming up FAST!!!! We will be on the west side of the state the weekend right after her birthday so I am thinking of having a small BBQ the Sunday before. I am not sure yet what to do.
Wow the lake looks gorgeous this morning. It is so nice outside. I need to see if we can fit the Ren festival into our schedule this year. I know we are going to go to the festival in Rochester Sept. 12th I am taking the day off we are riding our bikes there.
Oh yeah in David’s gallery there are some pictures of the trip. I need to post some more… www.david.kaboomboom.net/gallery
I better go I have to be to work in 20 minutes… bye bye for now

Ok so I am not totally suffering, but I get lonely when my honey is away from me. He is up in Manistee camping tonight to do the Big M race tomorrow. So I am a little sad because this is my only Saturday off this month and I don’t get to spend it with him….
On the upside Mathew and I got to spend quality time together. We went on a Mom and Son date and saw the Harry Potter movie together. (Chicken stayed home with grandma) We went to the noon show so we wouldn’t be out late and I have got to say it was a darn good movie. I am always partial to the books, but it was well done.
I made dirty rice for dinner tonight and it was really good. It is pretty good, I love cajun food so I was happy…
Ok so I was about to tell you how it has been dark out most of the day and windy, but now it is raining….finally. It has been looking like rain all day but it never came. The lake has been choppy and Mathew went out on the row boat for a few minutes while David was packing up this morning to fish. I am glad we didn’t go out a little while ago though, we probably would have been caught in the rain.
This summer has been rather cold. We went camping and it was pretty chilly at night and the mosquitos SUCKED!!!!!! I will never understand the point of their existance.
Lil D and Elise went to their grandparents last weekend and I believe they will be heading to their mom’s tomorrow. We went and saw the Transformers movie with them before they left. It was a pretty awesome movie I think I liked it better than the first one. Mind you the first one was darn good, so it says a lot. Some idiot movie critic in People magazine (I believe)gave it only 2 stars because it focused more on the machines than the humans…. HELLO!!!!! it is TRANSFORMERS it is about the machines more so than the humans. I am guessing this person didn’t really watch the cartoons. Some people just plain baffle me.
With all the ignorance in this world I am amazed it is not a happier place….
I am a bit aggitated today also, but that is beside the point. Just fed up with people and the stupid things they do… really some people just need to get over themselves and direct their hate onto other things. I wonder how someone can live with all that inside, hate and ressentment can really hurt your person. No wonder hateful people are always sick and never happy. HUH? That is why I never let stress rule my life. There is always a way to solve things, you just have to look.
I better tend to my little angel she is ultra clingy since daddy is not here.

So it has been a pretty rough past few weeks. David’s Aunt passed away (Aunt Kathy) last week then my manager passed away last night one was 53 the other 51 heart related issues it is so sad. My manager is someone I talked to pretty much everyday, someone I joked with and when we worked together we would listen to classical music. (I work at a store that only has 4 employees so we all get to know each other well, the owner her daughter and the owners best friend) it was the “best friend” that passed.
I am pretty sad over all that has been going on, it is pretty stressful when you are not really prepared ( I know with my grandmother being 81 and in a nursing home it might be anyday) so it sucks when you are blindsided.
On to better topics…. he he I almost said “toppings” I am craving an ice cream sundae
School is almost out = kids kids and more kids
I can’t wait to go camping and to the zoo and to the water park… YAY!! I love summer time. I hate the fact that I need to get a swimsuit and so does chicken. Have I ever mentioned the fact that I loathe bathing suit shopping!
My angel is asleep at the moment I have to go to bed soon I am worn out with all of the emotional mess and to top it off I am PMSing so that doesn’t help at all.
I will be done with all of my dentist visits next week. I just have to get a crown done. Then glasses are next, I should really go and get my wrist checked out because it has been bothering me for about 2 weeks or so. I think it is my carpal tunnel but it is getting annoying so I need to go and see my doctor soon.
Well I am tired I better go to bed I have an early morning and a long day ahead of me.
Night night
And to all of my friends and family just know that i love and appreciate you all, we might not speak everyday but it doesn’t mean you are not in my thoughts….

So this weekend we had our friends (the Murphy’s) stay over because Dennis and David were going to do a 12 hour 2 man team race on Saturday…. needless to say it got canceled because of the rain but they still spend the weekend here. We had a blast with them and I got to try tofu for the first time. I made spaghetti squash also found a great recipe for it (Dennis is vegetarian) I made a rhubarb sour cream cake also but we have yet to try it.
So since the race was a no go we went shoe shopping and we went to Olive Garden for soup and salad, my mom made enpanadas for dinner Dennis made some squash I think it was butternut but for all I know it could have been acorn. I will ask David when he gets out of the shower. Regardless it was awesome. I will be having to add squash and tofu to our dinner menu from now on.
Today the guys went on a 22 mile ride and while they were out Joni and I hit a couple of stores so I could get my grandma some shoes and little Miss Victoria got a potty…YAY we are now potty training so I am excited. (Oh he said it was acorn squash.)
We ordered Chicago Brothers pizza and then our friends left to go back to their side of the state. David and I went to go and see my grandma and took her chocolates and her new shoes. She was very talkative today and we spend about an hour there with her until she was tired and was in and out of it. We went to see a movie because that is what I wanted for Mother’s day….
My movie of choice…. ready… guess.
Star Trek it was AWESOME!!!!!! I could watch it again right about now, or tomorrow or whenever. It was that good. But you have to appreciate Star Trek to understand how awesome this is. I have always been a Trekkie ( or Trekker depending on which way you believe it to be the correct term) at heart and David shares that with me… my soul mate. We are nerds together. I have a new appreciation for Spock now that I never have had before. Well needless to say I will be owning that movie the day it comes out on DVD I will probably pre-order it so I can get some cool thing they offer.
David is going into the office for the next couple of weeks so it will be lonely around here
I will be at work when he gets home and so my time with him will be limited also because for the next 2 weeks I am working 6 days a week. So Sundays will be our time together and next Sunday he has a race at Bloomer so it will be time well spent I hope the weather stays nice so it will be a nice weekend for racing. I am going to go and try my cake I made I think I will make David taste it first
Good night all

I suck at keeping up with my blog…
Well all is pretty much the same around here. Waiting impatiently for the weather to stay consistently warm so we can swim and boat and stuff.
Race season has started for David. He is on a new team now and is excited about that. He is on Cycletherapy Racing which is the team he has always wanted to be on. Good for him! Plus the team colors are orange and black and look very good on him so it’s a bonus for me
Well I have to rush out of here we are going to the gym for our lunch time. What a way to spend time together huh?

I don’t know about wanting you back any time soon…
So we had a good time this weekend. Daddy bought Victoria a finger painting kit. I am waiting for a warm sunny day so we can color outside. It is my day off but it is gloomy out. She has been waking up about 2 hours earlier than usual the last couple of days, so I am tired! I want to make coffee but it is way too early and it would get cold by the time everyone else is awake. David worked until almost 3 in the morning. So he is sleeping in a little today.
I am planning on doing laundry today and cleaning the kitchen (it seems that the kitchen is the only room that ever needs to be cleaned it collects all of the clutter…school,mail,toys…etc..) not really dirty just cluttered.
This little monster is rubbing her eyes… I know she is still tired! I am going to go and try to rock her to sleep.
